I just want to make a simple horoscope type program in javascript.

To be honest, you would probably have a programming background to do this, so if you are asking how on Yahoo Answers, you might want to hire someone to do this.

With that said, if it were me, I would create the back-end in PHP, using a database to hold the horoscope info. Then, using AJAX, I would make calls to the PHP file and query the database.

The reason it would be better to use PHP, or some other similar language, instead of only javascript is that if you made it ONLY in javascript, people could just copy it and use it, without having to do any real work.

A Capricorn, and my horoscope has been running right on track. This old ship has a heart full of love and no home port to dock. Sometimes family is not close enough or a second chance will may still come my way.

My wife and I are considering marital counseling. We have been married for almost 4 years and neither one of us are happy. In my opinion, before you even bother doing marital counseling you have to determine if both of you are really committed to making the relationship succeed. No relationship can survive if one or both people aren’t willing to work on it. And it does take work.

Marital counseling can very often help to open the doors of communication between a husband and wife. Explain to her that its not necessarily because something’s "wrong" in the relationship, but to help to prevent certain ailments that can cause a broken marriage. There isn’t always a cure, but a failed marriage can sometimes be a preventable disease.

honestly I think most charging places are fakes, I think people with real gifts like that dont charge simply because it is something thats like a craft you have to learn how to use it and you can’t always get a reading so why make a business of something that may not be secure…and business going up…people get desperate in tough times and need to feel like there’s a light at the end of the tunnel for them, even there is but talking a "psychic" helps for some reason

You shouldn’t rely on the internet to find counseling. There are many sites that can be Googled, but they may not be credited or reliable. You should call a counseling office or a counseling center in your area and see if they know of any websites. That way you know it is legit and not a scam of any kind.

You should really research your questions a bit more.
It depends on the psychic, most of whom are phonys out for a quick buck. My suggestion would be not to mess around with them, and instead make your own interpretations about your own future.

I get that tarot cards can tell the past, future, and present, but that’s about all I know. I want to know why there are so many different kinds of them. Do they all read the same thing just different pictures? Someone please expain IN DETAIL!

Tarot cards were created in mid 15th century Italy and consist of two parts: a standard pack of Latin suited playing cards and a fifth suit of picture cards. These extra cards took as their theme a triumph procession, hence their early name of tionfi, meaning triumphs and from which we get our word trump. And that is what they were, a suit of fixed trump cards for a family of card games that continues to be played to this day.

It was at the end of the 18th century that a Parisian occultist, ignorant of the cards’ real history, published the claim that they came from ancient Egypt and could be used for divination (fortune telling). For about 100 years, the notion of an occult tarot was limited to France but at the end of the 19th century, some British occultists began to import them, along with translations of the French occultists. British occultists then elaborated upon those theories and redesigned the cards to better reflect their beliefs. The important ones were the Rider Waite Smith, the Crowley Harris Thoth, and the Golden Dawn.

During the 1970s, with the rise of new ageism, people began to further redesign the cards with a variety of themes and to better reflect numerous spiritual and occult beliefs, though these continued to reflect the symbolism added in the earlier occult packs.

As to whether divination with tarot cards works, that is a question that you must decide yourself. However, without an occult origin, the meanings that have been attributed to the cards have largely been arbitrary - or at least personal. I’m a skeptic myself but if you believe in divination, then it would make sense to me for you to apply whatever meanings you feel are correct - no one is in a position to dictate to you what they should or should not be.

As for the games. Well, these are (with only a couple of exceptions) what we call point-trick games. This means that like whist and bridge, cards are won in tricks but unlike those games different cards carry different point values, hence it is not the number of tricks won that wins the game but the number of card points in them. There are numerous games being played in Italy, Sicily, Switzerland, Czechoslovakia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Ukraine, Austria, Germany, France and Denmark.
